“I’ve been using this dry cleaner for over two years with no issues. Recently I thought I had my first problem: I picked up my suit and realized later that I had my pants, but the wrong jacket.

When I went back, they were apologetic, explained it rarely happens, and asked me to give them the ticket number and some time to contact other clients. We agreed that if nothing turned up in about three weeks, they’d cover the cost of my custom suit (over $600). Fair enough.

Fast forward—turns out my coworker had my jacket. He texted me a picture saying, “Hope this means you have mine.” (I didn’t. The cleaners did.) I called to explain and apologize for wrongly assuming they’d lost it. They couldn’t have been nicer. They even offered to clean my coworker’s jacket for free.

Bottom line: they handled the situation with patience, honesty, and grace—even when it turned out I was the one in the wrong. Good people running a good business.“
