I remember my three months in the summer of 2023, at CooperRiis at Asheville, quite fondly. I was stabilized for a couple of years after that. My only regret was not being able to stay in the program longer.
I really credit the staff for their major role in stabilizing me, helping me adjust, and keeping me safe during those three months. The staff saw me at my worst and at my best. Somehow, they were able to help me reach a stable ground of somewhere in-between, of just being “fine”. I really credit the special relationships I forged with the staff during that time period. I am pleased to see that the majority of reviews favor CooperRiis, and all of their programs. I was a Resident of CooperRiis of Asheville, during the Summer of 2023. Every staff member, as well as other Residents, do care about your well-being! I felt it was a worthwhile investment in my Recovery. In the years leading up to the time I arrived in June, I did not care about my Recovery at all, and I was in a steady decline and emotional downward spiral. Over the course of time at CooperRiis at Asheville, I started to care about my well-being, for the first time in my life.
