The Laid Back Cat

I recently had my kitty stay for 10 days. My special boy has behavioral issues so I was worried about him. I got to say The Laid Back Cat is an excellent place. The room he was in is spacious had a window to watch birds. He likes to be up high when he is at home and his room had many levels for him. Normally when I pick him from boarding he let's me know how much I am in trouble. This time he told me all about his time there he was calm and was extremely happy. He had no issues coming home. I feel more comfortable going on vacation now that I discovered The Laid Back Cat. I highly recommend and Itty has approved.

For more than a decade, I've toured the U.S. with my cat. I've had him boarded in tens of places in countless cities and many states. To date, The Laid Back Cat is far and above the best place. The rooms are large, they have windows, they have multiple shelves at different heights. The rooms allow for the cats to hide away from the otehr cats or to see and communicate with them. Some of the rooms are inside-outside. The complex is quiet, clean (no urine, cat litter, old food or other such odors!), and spacious. Although it's far from Raleigh, it's worth the hour-plus drive each way even if my cat is to be boarded just for a couple days.

Our typical boarder for over 10 years was full and they referred us to The Laid Back Cat. The owner of TLBC was very responsive during our initial communications regarding our reservation and policies. We boarded our cat for 6 days. Walking in, the place was extremely clean and welcoming. The owner is transparent and her love for cats and knowledge of their care was immediately apparent. The owner gave us a tour of the cat-only facility and took her time explaining how they are cared for during their stay.
