Dr. McKinley and his staff are fantastic. They always work us in when we have an unplanned need. He is very compassionate and he always talks us through our options. He has helped us through two dogs with cancer and a cat with pneumonia. He's honest about the prognosis and the costs of life prolonging treatments that may or may not improve the quality of life for our pets. His compasion is very much appreciated.
A 6 week old kitten appeared in my garage yesterday around noon. And just made himself at home. I took him to the Animal Clinic of Madison-Mayodan this morning. Didn't know you needed a appointment. After arriving with the kitten, the staff was all very sweet and caring for the kitten. They aged him at 6 weeks old, gave him worm medicine and something for his fleas. Can't explain how greatful I was for them working him in. And I have to say they have gained a new pet patient. Keep up the good work, God Bless you all. And many thanks.
I love love love the people at this vet. We’ve been taking our family dogs there ever since I was little and they’ve always been nothing but kind to us. You can tell they really care for the animals the way we do and will do anything in their power to make them feel better, including preventative care like extra recommended vaccines.
