Technician was thorough and on time.
They came and did pest control at my new house which had roaches and spiders from previous tenants nothings change since having sprayed except it seems like they got worse so over it calling a different company this time !
I recently relocated to Roseboro, North Carolina, from Atlanta, Georgia, so my pest control company needed to be family-run since that is very important to me. That’s why I chose Canady’s Termite & Pest Control. In light of my conversation with Dwayne Hubbard, the Regional Manager for the eastern United States, I will be a little vague because I’m sure this matter will end in litigation. My home inspector recommended crawl space repair a few weeks ago to me. Due to my lack of knowledge about the remediation process, I followed Dwayne’s advice. I bought the Minimal – Moisture Barrier Install 8Mil (Reinforced), ensuring overlapping taping and pinning of the seams. Dehumidifier (Santa-Fe 70) installed with floor mounting kit, sealing all foundation vents and wiring included. Crawlspace sump pump installation and plumbing and electrical work to the space are all included. Furthermore, this would cost $4,000. Also, it was recommended to clean the floor system after treating it with Concrobium to kill mildew and shield the beams from damage. Finally, to get the best results, I would need to remove all of the insulation in my home, costing another $4000. Also, this would be purchased later since I first had to have the two heat pumps installed. Jeff Adams was the technician, and after he finished the work, he approached me to do additional work for me in the home. Painting, removing interior walls, and refinishing hardwood flooring, he would also paint those walls. Afterward, he said he would do this for $10,000 and needed a third-down payment of $3350; I paid him the $3350 and gave Dwayne the remaining $4000 owed. It has been a week since Jeff Adams contacted me and accepted the 1/3 down payment. I haven’t heard from him. I contacted his Manager Dwayne, and he confirmed that he works for him but isn’t responsible for anything else he does with clients who wish to use his service. As a representative of Canady’s, I tried to convey to Dwayne that Jeff shouldn’t be permitted to prey on clients and take advantage of customers stealing their money. He shouldn’t look the other way when this could seemly look bad for Canady’s ethically. Besides, if Jeff can steal from me, there is no doubt that he will and probably has stolen from Canady’s. He didn’t understand or agree with me and stated that there wasn’t anything he would do but talk with him, and he stated he would call me back. I haven’t heard from him, and there has been little to no communication at all, including text messages and phone calls. They have played me for a fool and stolen my deposit which is unacceptable, Dwayne. I believe that I have no choice but to take all legal measures at my disposal. The Better Business Bureau of North Carolina, the district attorney’s office, or their bonding business will all be contacted. Facebook and other social media sites will allow me to show Carolinas my displeasure with Canady’s Termite and Pest Control for permitting this to happen.
