Ana (owner of Unique Hair Cuts in Knightdale) is an exceptional hair stylist and an even better person, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. I moved to Raleigh in 2012 and for over 7 years struggled to find a decent and consistent barber / hair stylist, easily tried over 20 different places and over 30 different barbers / stylists across Raleigh, Cary, Morrisville, Knightdale, and Wake Forest. I also tried at least 10 different stylists at SportsClips with mediocre at best frustrating results, especially for the money you’re paying there. Until I met Ana at SportsClips Crossroads in 2020, and I never wanted anyone else to cut / style my hair ever again after that. She managed and worked at different SportsClips locations in Cary, Raleigh, and Knightdale, and I would go out of my way to drive and have her cut my hair every 2-3 weeks regardless of what location she was at, she’s THAT good. Imagine the perfect haircut of your dreams the first time meeting her, she listens, is patient, super friendly and outgoing, and you walk out never doubting or second-guessing your cut (which we’re all often afraid of giving negative feedback or instructing your stylist to make changes for things they miss or don’t understand). She executes your vision of your perfect haircut, offers great feedback and suggestions, and all with a genuine smile. She leaves you feeling sharp, confident, and with a renewed feeling that you can conquer the rest of the day after a fresh cut, relaxing shampoo, clean steamed towel on your face, face massage, neck and shoulder massage, and flawless styling with fresh-smelling product (when asked). Above all of that, you leave feeling like you just made a best friend who you can talk about anything with. If you want a flawless, fresh cut and style, and want to drive a mile past the SportsClips assembly line miserableness in Knightdale while also avoiding long wait times, high prices, constant turnover, and inconsistent results, make an appointment or walk in to see Ana at her exciting new business Unique Hair Cuts. I’d rather support a growing local business run by an exceptional professional with a beautiful, hard-working family, than a cookie-cutter corporation where you’re just a number, not a person.
