I had a great experience here! This was my first time being serviced at an African Braiding Salon, and I had a last-minute emergency where I needed my hair styled quickly for a wedding this week. Thankfully, they were able to accommodate me the same day I called.
While they do allow walk-ins, their website makes it clear that calling ahead and paying the $50 deposit is preferred to secure your appointment. I called at 8:30 AM and inquired about getting small, butt-length knotless braids. Mabel was able to fit me in for 11:30 AM. She greeted me with a warm smile when I arrived on time, and we discussed my style and pricing upfront before starting.

This is my family now! They exuded confidence in their ability to provide top tier service. They delivered. I mean yes the braids have tension. Not outside of anything standard. I kicked my shoes off and let down my hair :)! We watched tv, talked about life, shared in experience. All rules and processes were defined verbally and poster. Everyone was so kind.
Reviews can build or tear down an establishment. Most things can be worked out. Before you settle your day leave these folks a good ole review.

I’m so happy I got my hair done here !!! I got extra small knotless butt length and the braids and parts are so neat. Not to mention I got there when they opened and they started on me right away I was out by 3 !!! 😌 I will definitely be going back here next time I want some braids 🙂↕️
