Friendly Barber Shop offers good haircuts and beard trims for $20. The shop features nostalgic memorabilia from the 1960s. Customers appreciate the friendly staff and the unique atmosphere. A scented liquid is used at the end of the service, which some may find overpowering.
My 7 year old wanted a cut at the REAL barbershop 💈And of course his little brother wanted a cut too, he’s 3….So we headed to Friendly’s downtown Ktown! He had a vision for his hair and Angela did not disappoint (which was not surprising given her 26 years in the industry!) My boys were very happy with their haircuts (and candy.) She was fantastic with my boys and I enjoyed chatting with her, Kelly, and Tim as they closed shop for the day. This Barbershop has been around since the late 50’s AND it is the same barbershop my Pop and Dad started going to after my beautiful hairdresser of a grandmother, MeeMaw, passed away. My favorite part (besides the folks) the mementos from the past-the retro blow dryers, clippers, chairs with the ash trays, the old timey soda bottles. We’ll be back! Thanks again!!
