AC Rescue was a random search choice on a Friday of memorial day weekend. I got a call back at 501pm. We talked. Told them my sitrep. Well, they sent Austin out to my house . What a professional tech he is. I let them quote a remove and replace for an evaporator coil on a 1.5 ton unit. Repair done . It took about a 1/3 of the time the other company quoted. Pretty basic task for an HVAC TECH . drain the system, remove and replace, recharge the system, pressure check and ops check. A/C Rescue was really great to work with and we will be working with them again in the future. We replaced our A/C capacitor two years ago, so assumed that when everything appeared to be working except there was no cold air being produced, that we were out of freon. They looked it over and had to replace the capacitor again, but we did not need freon, and we appreciated that we were not charged for freon when we didn't need it. We were not totally surprised the capacitor had to be replaced again so soon as the unit is really old and probably needs to work harder than it should. Top of the line experience with A/C Rescue from initial call to repair. We needed repair on a Saturday and they were earlier than scheduled (which was awesome), efficient, courteous, and explained things well. The repair cost was very reasonable, even on a weekend day. We didn’t have a regular maintenance company for our new home, but we do now! Thank you, Patrick and Drew!
