In our case, they literally demolished and re-engineered walls to create new features that I really wanted – a vaulted ceiling, a more dramatic fireplace, and a deck off the living room.Our prior experience with building a home taught us a lot about craftsmanship and materials. These guys take pride in what they do, and, like them, their project manager, Luis, is always ready to help the client think through the design and finishes so that it comes out exactly right and stays on budget.I have saved the best for last. As I write this review, I think of the anxiety we felt about finding builders who would take on this admittedly challenging project and would have the professional chops, the crew (Raul, David, and the other great craftsmen), the know-how, the vision, and the human understanding to see this through.I did talk to a handful of other builders because I do my homework. But if I can brag for a moment, I found J & L Construction on my own, so I will take credit for that much. You will be singing their praises too if you hire them to have a house built, rebuilt, or remodeled—hopefully under happier circumstances than those that prompted my call to J & L Construction.“

“Needed an estimate on commercial property. I called two companies. JH Batten called back, came to look at our projects, and as we speak they are working on estimates. Still haven't heard from the other company.“

“We purchased a 30 yr. old house in NW High Point just one month ago. Our fascia was in very bad condition! Boedicker Construction came in and made it look new. They did a phenomenal job. They were courteous and efficient, they were timely, and the job was completed on time.
