“We were new to the area and used Scott Cornelius for our taxes. When we first met with him he took his time and answered all our questions. Our taxes were done in a timely manner and they were so easy to work with.<br><br>However, we received a notice from the IRS for a previous year. Scott Cornelius had nothing to do with the original filing. It was during 2020 and we used an online filing company. And there were mistakes. We tried handling it with the IRS ourselves but it became a rabbit hole and we ended up owing money and penalties.<br><br>Scott recommended his associate Walter Wallace. He became an our advocate and champion! It took a while, through no fault of Walt’s. The IRS does not move quickly! But long story short, after years of trying to straighten this out ourselves, in less than a year Walt was able to straighten out the mess and we ended up getting a refund.<br><br>He was so easy to work with. We could not be more grateful.”

I had given him all my paperwork by March 5, I hateextensions. But that's what I got an extension, he stated and I quote, I am so busy and got behind". Well that is fine, but he should have picked up the phone and just said I can't do it. I should be the one to decide if I am going to do an extension or not. Four stars is still pretty good, he is a nice man, I just do not belong in the good ole boys club.”
