Our goal was to totally re-imagine the space in our home. We aimed for a modern take on mid-century design, transforming it from its eclectic roots to a clean-lined and congruous modern space with the rustic contrasts of wood and stone and infused with natural light. Ted understood our vision from our very first meeting and brought an immediate passion to the project. He repeatedly brought ideas that we never would have thought of that brought our vision to life. We worked with Ted for about 3 months coming up with options for a home addition and remodel on our 1950's ranch. We noticed he was doing 2 other homes in the neighborhood and got in contact with him. Ted was able to work within our budget and make the design and plans happen. Sadly about 2 months prior to our start date, we had to transfer for work. While we didn't get to finish, Ted made the process simple and easy to understand. We would have loved to complete the project and would do it all over with Ted and Authentic if we were to stay in Charlotte area.
