We contracted with Will and his crew at White Pickett Fences in November of 22 to build a 20 x 16 ft deck. From day one he handled himself as a professional from communicating his arrival times as scheduled to promptly providing a fair and detailed estimate of the scope of work. Once the deal had been struck he showed up daily, working full days and even a weekend to ensure that the job done was completed in a timely manner. I also appreciated the fact that he was not juggling my job while bouncing back and forth between other clients. Our two week deck build received his full attention. In hindsight there are a few things that I would have been more adamant about requesting be done differently, most pressingly his substitution of structural/construction screws for the carriage bolts that were contracted to be used to secure the girders/beams to the support posts. I would have pushed harder for the use of carriage bolts if I had known then what I know now and will be reluctantly crawling under the deck and installing them in the future. In any event, White Pickett Fences built a 100% inspector approved structure which I hope will be a good, strong deck for many years to come. Overall, I am satisfied with the quality and final product that Will and his team have produced and would consider White Pickett Fences on a future project.
