I live in DC and have been around the block with colorists. A chance encounter with Matthew while visiting my sister in Apex last year has me hooked. His talent is unmatched and as someone who will drive 5 hours to have him do my hair, I can say with conviction that he is the BEST at what he does! I love that he’s no pressure/no judgement and if you’re someone who can’t get your hair done every 6-8 weeks, he’ll give you exactly what you need to last and grow out naturally. “Oh my goodness!! I CANNOT say enough about the kind, caring, professional staff at Merle Norman. My 10 year old daughter just got her ears pierced there and it was a wonderful experience! She was anxious about having it done, after her ears previously got infected from having it done somewhere else.
The staff went over and above to ease her anxiety. Explaining the whole procedure at length and even allowed her to hold the piercing gun!!

“I went there last Wed, got mild help from one person but they were busy with someone else. What I wanted said it was in stock online but it wasn't in store. Something told me to go back the following day and double check the product I was looking for and same thing. What's making me give this a five star thought is Lily and Chris. Lily caught sight of me and asked how I was after shopping for lipgloss, she told me about the Origin event they were having that I knew about but wasn't interested in originally, but decided to take a look. And then Chris came around the corner - super helpful, super nice had a great time working with him and learned a few new tips and received excellent advice. Honestly, if it weren't for these two, I may not consider going back but they were so kind and just down right awesome I greatly appreciated their time and help.
