We moved to North Carolina about 16 months ago, I have been a member of VFW for about 15 years now.I was a bit apprehensive to leave my "home" post and dear friends and find a new "home" and new friends.I have to say that from the first day we visited, we were warmly welcomed and introduced, and made to feel comfortable. Since then, we have met some of the finest people at Post #9983.We look forward to our visits to the post.The weekly dinner specials are amazing!The wings and hand cut fries & onion rings on Monday's are the best we have ever had, hands down! You absolutely cannot go wrong with the service , whether it be Minnie or Tammy behind the bar it's a win win...read full review
Great hole in the wall for cheap food and drinks. Belly up at the bar for camaraderie and conversations with fellow veterans or hang out on the screened in patio and enjoy the great weather. There’s also an event hall that you can rent out for private events.
This is the “Tina Turner” Post! “Simply the Best! Better than all the rest!” Food, drink, music, atmosphere, camaraderie and super friendly staff. You’re home and among friends at 9983!
