I called the same day due to a concern that I had with my dog. They were able to see him immediately. He is a reactive dog and very nervous and needed to be sedated in order to do a full exam. The vet as well as the vet tech were absolutely fantastic. They explained everything very clearly and compassionately. They conducted all procedures in the room on the floor as my dog was Sedated. They wouldn’t above and beyond to make sure that he was comfortable and we were comfortable. I am so happy that I switched vets and I’m now an established patient at Piedmont veterinary.
We saw Dr. Hockenberry. Very knowledgeable veterinarian, provided evidence-based information and was also supportive of whatever choice we decided on. I appreciated that they did the whole exam in the room, our cat has a calm temperament so that helps. The vet tech was also super kind.
I cannot recommend this office & especially Dr. Kipp enough. She always goes above and beyond for my pets, no matter the situation. The office regularly reaches out between visits to check on my babies, which I love, but the biggest testament to their character is how they responded to an injured stray kitten that I found— when he needed immediate care, they were willing to see me same day, but I ended up taking him to another vet that could see me a little earlier.
