“Cozy environment once your in the back receiving your scheduled treatment(s). The only issue I always seem to have is the so called “20% gratuity fee”. I kind of feel it should be optional for a paying customer to let them know when checking out versus being asked which makes you feel pressured to pay. Honestly, I was charged a 40% gratuity fee for one service. I guess the reception lady thought I could not calculate that 20% added to a $35 balance should have been $42 NOT $49. I paid it because the professional who did my service was awesome. It may be awhile before I return because they are very expensive compared to other facilities.“
“Great relaxing mother-daughter bonding experience. Ginger was super nice and welcoming, our massages were great, and the relaxation lounges were perfect. Only negative part was that when we returned the neck pillows as we were leaving, a different receptionist asked us if we had paid? We had given our gift certificates 2 hours earlier upon arrival. Why would we be coming out of the restricted area if we hadn’t paid? Why would we have received the services if we hadn’t paid? She said that in front of everyone and we were embarrassed and confused. When we told her we had given our gift certificates 2 hours earlier, she became defensive and said “Well I don’t know who you are!” Another receptionist said one of our gift certificates had already been redeemed, but quickly admitted that she had made a mistake when I asked her what was going on. When we left, my daughter asked me if we looked like we didn’t belong there for the reception staff to have given us such a challenging time. That was not going to ruin our lovely afternoon, however. That just indicated that she needed some additional training on professionalism, manners, and common courtesy.“
