I’ve used Markham, Mitchell, & Stroud for the last 4 years for my taxes. When I first started out, they were great! We met in-person, Ralph would ask me questions, I could ask him questions in return, he was warm, and I felt that I could really trust him.

For the last few years, the personal touch has gone away. They have insisted on uploading forms via a very clunky online portal, and have been less and less responsive via email. All of this has occurred while they’ve increased their rates. If you’re going to charge almost double what you used to, the least you could do is answer my questions.

This facility didn't provide me excellent service. They didn't get me a dime just me owing my entire $30,000 taxes and only getting $800 which $739 goes to the state. Wow making 6 figure salary and not having taxes explained to you but charging $300 is really swell. If you want to get ripped off come get your taxes done here and treated like garbage. Especially, if you're a minority beware!

Steve Mitchell and the staff at Markham, Mitchell & Stroud are great to work with. Professional & knowledgeable, they have prepared our personal taxes for 15 years or more. Not only are the efficient, they have always been available to advise and guide me when I have small business or personal finance questions as they relate to my taxes.
