About Berkeley Veterinary Clinic

Berkeley Veterinary Clinic has provided care for pets since 2017. Some clients have had negative experiences with staff and availability, but others have praised the clinic's kind and professional staff, who show empathy in difficult times, even sending handwritten cards. This office has helped families care for pets over a period of 20(+) years, and has always received experienced professionalism. The clinic is recommended by some pet owners, who appreciate the caring attitude and competitive pricing. They offer treatment options that run the gamut from ideal to economically practical. This office does good work and has not become less personal and professional as it has grown. The staff was very pleasant, and one lady even brought a blanket for a pet owner to use during a difficult time. The veterinarian was also sorry for them while taking care of their pet.

This office has helped my family care for three different pets over a period of 20(+) years. They've also helped us say goodbye to all three of them. I have always received nothing less than experienced professionalism, from the front of the office to the back. I've had to hear some hard truths over the years, but always with great compassion - As if my pets were as dear to them as they were to me. That's important to me. The most calming and reassuring thing I have ever heard a veterinarian say is, "If this was my dog/cat, I would start here (a tx option)." I have never thought to myself they were after my money. I could trust they would start with conservative treatment,...read full review

I took my puppy here for his first visits in 2011 and they took great care of him. fast forward 13 years, they took good care of him the whole time. he has had most of his care with them except when we lived out of state, and even had a couple surgeries with them.
they were there for us last week when we made the painful decision to put our dog out of his pain. Dr Wilder was so kind and compassionate and made the whole awful thing much easier.

We had to put our dog down today but the staff was very pleasant. One of the ladies even brought a blanket in so that my wife could lay down on the floor with her during this difficult time. The doctor was also sorry for us while taking care of her.
