The staff at the front are very rude. I went in for my appointment where I got up with my face swollen this morning and presented my paperwork and the receptionist began by berating my income then accused me of being rude and disrespectful. Her sidekick next to her then asked why I was cussing. I hadn’t started then but will admit I did before I left. I asked the receptionist what her problem was with me because every time I have been in there she has some problem with me or other. The manager came out and asked. I explained. Their opinions are based solely upon assumption and that's all. And there representatives are extremely RUDE! Especially the "little Hispanic girl" at the front desk who makes it a habit to make up non-relevent excuses to deny minorities medical treatment. People could die from not getting proper treatment and medicine but; she along with other representative s, could care less(they obviously don't care at all). DENY, DENY, DENY is all they do.. Your better off saving up for private Insurance and going somewhere else instead of applying for Sliding Scale and going to this clinic! Their call center always tells people the wrong location of their appointment! Then the lady who is over highland center instead of just saying your at the wrong place she will answer phones and take her time telling you so ain't no way you will make it on time to the right location! This is the fifth time this had happened in the last year! They need some organization and people answering the phone who know what they are talking about and covid has nothing to do with this situation they was doing this before covid!
