160 Driving Academy of Raleigh

160 Driving Academy of Raleigh is a truck driving school that offers a fast and affordable path to a career in trucking. Students can complete their training in just four weeks and start their careers with salaries around $40,000. The school boasts a high rate of tuition reimbursement from employers.

While the academy highlights its experienced and supportive instructors, some students have expressed concerns about the learning environment. The school's truck lot has a high student-to-instructor ratio, leading to limited access to trucks and training time. Students report long wait times to practice maneuvers and a lack of available trucks.

Despite these challenges, students praise the instructors for their patience, helpfulness, and dedication. The academy acknowledges the need for improvement, particularly in the computer systems used for classroom learning. Some students found the computers slow and outdated, impacting their learning experience.

Overall, 160 Driving Academy offers a rapid training program with supportive instructors. However, potential students should be aware of the limited resources and potential wait times on the truck lot. The school provides a family-oriented environment, where students feel welcomed and supported in their journey to obtain a CDL license and start a new career.
