My daughter's cat ran away last Tuesday the ninth. After days of searching we had all but given up hope. On Sunday morning, the fourteenth, this little missy came sauntering back. Not really sauntering, she had a broken hind leg. We immediately took her to the nearest pet ER. After a few hours we were indeed told that her leg was broken. Really? We left that vet and would wait until Monday. We were not happy with emergency vet either. We called Dr Hammond our usual vet. She had the emergency room x-rays and prognoses sent to her. I moved here from Nantucket Ma in late October. Needed a veterinarian for my 8 year old dog. I saw Dr Mitchell at Cane Creek Animal clinic a few days after my arrival. She was very gentle, compassionate but thorough when she examined Maddie. Gave Maddie the vaccination she needed and we were on our way. I feel very comfortable in recommending Dr Mitchell.

Love this place. They are knowledgeable and practical and not pushy with anything. Great communication too. We take our dog, cat, and horse here. Well, Dr. Wright comes to the horse :)
