We sold our home, November 27, around 2 PM, but as of today, we still haven’t received our payment. I called Thorp Company to ask about the wire transfer, and they claimed they had completed their part and sent the money to KD White Law Company. However, when I contacted KD White, the owner stated they never received the payment. Now, it’s past Thanksgiving, and we’re still waiting for the funds from the sale of our home. This situation is highly unprofessional and deeply frustrating. At this point, I don’t know who to trust, and I should have received my funds immediately after closing. ZERO STARS!!!!ZERO STARS!!! ****00000000000000000000000**** This review is for Thorpe and Clark 150 N McPherson Church Road, Ste B, Fayetteville NC 910. 323. 4111. I honestly have no idea how this so called law office is allowed to continue to operate on a regular basis. They should be behind bars. Talk about a misrepresentation of services...I have paid an astronomical amount of money to these con artists and have not had any type of resolution for my legal matters. It has been well over a year since I have entrusted them to handle a division of property matter in a divorce. To this date, I still have nothing. I am out of money that I have worked hard to make and then sacrificed to pay them. Then to make matters worse, when I call them they have no professionalism, no updates, no regard for my legal well being in this matter. It makes my blood boil! I have had several conversations with several different people and each conversation with each person continues to get worse. No one knows who I am whenever I call. No one knows the details of my case. I have to explain who, what, when, where and why each time I call in. No one knows anything about the status of my case. When I leave messages for the attorney to contact me, I never get a call back. I have been lied to more than once. Each phone call leaves me more pissed than the last. I had to check once to make sure that I had even called the right firm because I thought that I had dialed the wrong number. I have wondered if I even have a case with these people. But, when I searched my bank account, I was certain that I had indeed paid them their fee that they asked for. This has been the only thing that they have done in a timely and honorable fashion. I WOULD NOT recommend that anyone trust these people for any services at all. Even if they had a cleaning service, I would not use it. If I owned a baby billy goat and needed him to be groomed and Thorpe and Clark were on the only groomers on Earth, I would groom the goat myself. If I ran a circus and needed animals to participate in the circus, I wouldn't even trust their animals to function properly in this capacity. The animals would probably run off. Anything associated with them is a no for me! At this point, I am thinking of finding an attorney to sue this attorney. How in the world is this a real business?? If anyone reads this please do not use this low office for anything (yes, it's spelled correctly). Because I think these people are the lowest of the low. I was told to check out this law firm for estate planning. I paid the $200 consultation fee and showed up with all documents copied, ear-marked and categorized. Prepared to knock this out. After a 30-60 minute long meeting I felt I was in good hands. I was told my estate documents would be drawn up within 3 days. Unfortunately, not only was that not the case, but they were never created at all. I called 3 times over the next 3 weeks and left messages asking why I haven't received an email or phone call in regards to my estate documents.
