I trained jiu jitsu previously, but it’s been a few years because of life and excuses. I had tried another school in the area and although the people were great, I just didn’t feel the “click”. I have attended 3 Gi and my first No Gi class tonight. This place is outstanding. The students are all awesome and humble. There are no egos, just good training partners. The professors / coaches are all insanely knowledgeable, but teach to a level so the newest person to jiu jitsu can understand. They train to standard. If they notice the class isn’t getting it, they attempt to repeat the demo and go into more detail, which was been very helpful. I’m absolutely glad I started attending here. I should have done it a long time ago, but there is always no better time than right now to learn some great self-defense by true professionals in an environment that is challenging, but conducive to learning. I’m genuinely excited to continue my jiu jitsu journey at Team R.O.C. Thanks, Team!
