Let me start off by saying that I have been very nervous about going to a hair salon since my hair began thinning. All of my fear and hesitation melted away after talking to Maria. She not only listened but understood my concern. Maria, was very gentle with my hair as she washed ,cut, and styled it. Unlike past experiences at other salons she did NOT chop off my hair .. she only cut what needed to come off and layered it to bring fullness to it. She styled my hair beautifully while ensuring that she only used low heat on ny hair.

As a female with thick, curly (3c) hair, I’m hesitant when it comes to salons but I’m glad I came here. Maria was so gentle with my hair and she understood all of my needs. She was able to give me exactly what I wanted, while taking great care of preserving my curls. She didn’t use high heat like I’m used to from Dominican Salons, but the outcome was 10/10.
I visited Marilyn’s Beauty Salon for an end cut, layers, highlights, and styling—and it was truly an amazing experience! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in. I was especially impressed by how the staff celebrated a client’s birthday with genuine joy and gracefully handled a minor dispute with professionalism and class.
Vianka did a fantastic job with my hair. She listened carefully to what I wanted and delivered exactly that. I absolutely loved the final result! Vianka, Marilyn, and Maria were all incredibly kind and made me feel genuinely cared for throughout my visit.
