I found them online as I was in town for a funeral and needed my nails done. Online said they were open but I called and the guy wasn't there, he had to come to the salon from home. He said he does this when it's slow... but I, as a new comer, saw it was open online. Anyways... he was rough with my hands/cuticles. I just got a simple gel mani, and it looked fine, but I t's only been 1 1/2 days and it looks old already? If that makes sense? Like it aged terribly over night. And I paid $50 for it! That's so much money for a regular gel manicure!! I go to Emerald Isle once maybe twice a year, but won't go back to this establishment for any services in the future.

I was very disappointed. Nail tech was 15 mins late for my appt. Talked on his phone nearly the entire time he did my pedicure. I can still see slopped-on gel on the skin around 3 of my nails, along with an unevenly trimmed nail, which supports my opinion he rushed me thru. I wanted a paraffin wax treatment but wasn't offered any choices at all. I'm a new full-time resident here, and I guess I'm still on the hunt for "my" nail salon.
