This week, my wife, daughter, and I all came down with the flu, and I cannot express how grateful we are for the excellent care we received at Chesapeake Regional Primary Care in Elizabeth City. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with kindness, compassion, and great professionalism.
Dr. Samantha Furia saw my wife today and was incredibly attentive, taking the time to explain everything in detail and ensure she was comfortable with her treatment plan. Dr Furia and team at Chesapeake Primary Care provide top notch world class health care. The facility is new, the equipment pristine and the follow-ups are stuff of legends.
Because, as you know, all of us are lifelong consumers of healthcare services. Customer Service and follow-up is the most important life saving part of what they do.
While I was in the lobby, I watched as a front desk person got up and went to chat with a patient in the lobby, in person and up close as she had some important info for him, and he was upset.
This level of care from everyone there is one reason why Chesapeake is exceptional.

1/10/2023 I visited the urgent care section for an appointment to see a doctor for some post covid health issues. Although they were not accepting new patients at this time, I live seasonally in Hertford and was offered an urgent care appointment the next day.
The office was clean and well-run and staff helpful. Dr Samantha Furia and her assistant were professional, knowledgeable and met my needs during the appointment. I am very selective with my medical provider choices, and Dr Furia was everything I look for in a medical provider. Very thankful for her care and now feel comfortable that I found great competent medical care close to my winter home!
