Skinner & Smith Funeral Home is a very nice place with clean, modern, and well-kept facilities. The chapel is a good size room. The staff has so much experience, compassion, knowledge, and willingness to help. They are dedicated, warm, comforting, and a blessing. Skinner & Smith is the only funeral home I remember our family ever using all the way back to the 70's when my PaPa was there after his passing. The staff has so much experience, compassion, knowledge and willingness to help. Their facilities are very clean, modern and well kept. Jessie did not seem the least bit rushed when helping us make the arrangements for my Dad's services or on the morning of the funeral. Here are my 2 examples of why this home is perfect. I told Jay the owner I wasn't going to have a minister even for the graveside because I felt guilty that we hadn't been to church in so long and he just called over (after getting my OK) to our brand new minister and in an hour I was sitting for a 2 hour and 30 minute meeting with our minister. Then viewing my husband's casket spray I saw it wasn't right and he intuitively picked up on this, (before I even said anything) found out what was wrong, called the florist and they were there immediately.
