“Let me start with, the manager took my concerns seriously and was deeply apologetic for the associate’s behavior. That’s the only reason they are getting 4 stars.I’m a white female, shopping in leggings and a tshirt, no purse so nowhere to hide anything to steal. I was on the phone with my friend while I was looking for a new blow-dry spray and reading the ingredients of a few different brands. Yes, I had been looking for probably 20 mins because I was looking for something specific. I was also googling as I was looking. No big deal right? Well this associate (her name is Destiny) comes up, while I’m on the phone and asks me if she can help me find anything, I look confused at her because I’m clearly on the phone and she was interrupting a convo. I said no and point to my cell, because I was on the phone. She looks annoyed with me and continues to follow me around the store to every single section I went. I went to sections that I knew I didn’t need anything but if she wanted to follow me, she was going to get her steps in. I have never stolen anything in my life but it was clear what she was doing.I spoke to the manager about it and a few other associates also chimed in to apologize. I think it was just that one associate with an issue. I hate to bring race and profiling into it, but I felt so targeted. I want to say thank you to the manager though, she was so nice!“
