This was the best dental experience I’ve ever had. My visit to Afton Dental was professional, clean, and informative from start to finish. Dr. Hill was extremely trustworthy—he listened carefully to my concerns, explained all treatment options clearly, and never made me feel pressured. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate an appointment time that fit my schedule. The office itself was immaculately clean, from the floors to the bathrooms, and especially the treatment rooms. Brittany provided an extremely accurate estimate for my children’s dental services based on our insurance, which I greatly appreciated. The hygienist Tammy was gentle and thorough, and I didn’t experience any gum discomfort or bleeding. I typically dislike going to the dentist, but I genuinely loved my experience here and would highly recommend Afton Dental.
my review is a long one and I have emails to prove communication style and how rude this office is, I was given an estimate and agreed to the estimate, I thought the office had checked my insurance, but I was wrong! and ended up paying for the services the day of the treatment and then got a letter months later saying I was being sent to collections, I was shocked I thought everything was fine, I called spoke to the office manager and still did not understand as the final bill ended up being way more then agreed upon! when I emailed today after months of not hearing anything and me putting in a grievance, I was told that the office would not be setting up a call with me and that they only wanted communication if I was paying, the reason for my review is they Dr Hills team quoted me for services that they said were not covered and they ended up being covered and then quoted me for services they stated were covered but ended up not being covered which ultimately caused my bill to go up about 700 more dollars! this is not ok and they stated they understood how frustrating but they have now taken steps to make sure this does not happen again! again email the office sent me! beware that they will quote you a smaller amount to get you in and then demand more after you leave!
So thankful to Dr Hill and his amazing team at Afton Dental! Two particular interactions stand out that I will highlight here- 1) Invisalign: though having braces twice (& permanent retainers), my teeth shifted becoming a source of insecurity for me. As I began noticing it more in photos, I wanted to explore my options. Dr Hill and his team were able to explain the Invisalign process thoroughly and even perform same day Invisalign scanning and simulation for me. The scanning was convenient, quick, easy and comfortable. The technology is amazing! It was exciting to see the simulation in such a seamless process. Couldn't be happier that I chose Afton Dental and Dr. Hill to help me achieve my goals with Invisalign! 2) I previously had an urgent dental need that needed addressing and they went above and beyond to get me in ASAP! Great communication from the moment I contacted them. When I arrived, I was welcomed with warm and friendly smiles, which set the tone for an experience that was fabulous. I was seen quickly, Dr Hill and his team assessed the situation, addressed it and even addressed other questions I had that were unrelated to the issue I came in for. I was interested in teeth whitening for some time so in this same visit I was able to quickly and seamlessly have my teeth scanned and fit. The trays were made same day! Overall, I am impressed by the providers, the technology, equipment and skill set in office that allows for many in house services that I have not had access to before. Everything was explained thoroughly and I am so excited to enhance my smile! Overall amazing experiences every visit from start to finish! Thank you Afton Dental, Dr Hill, and team for all of your dedication to your patients and practice (special shout out to warby their specialty trained support dog for keeping me company throughout and ensuring I was comfortable!)
