In August 2020, I tragically lost my wife of 20 years. An enormous part of my life with her was spent travelling. We loved going anywhere and everywhere. However, another large part of our lives were our dogs. And, unfortunately, we never really could take them with us on our adventures. So, we depended on boarding them. During the last year, travelling was something I didn't/couldn't do, either emotionally or practically. Well, that changed this weekend where I was able to visit some friends for a fun weekend away. Which meant I had to find someplace to board our big boy, Waldo...and that place was Social Pet at Charlotte. They were so awesome and Waldo had so much fun, I couldn't be happier. As I try to rebuild my life, I now feel like I have that essential part of my life back; the ability to travel! Thank you Social Pet!!
Social Pet Charlotte was absolutely wonderful with all of my dogs! We did the small group/enrichment daycare option. Mandy played interactive games with my dogs and made a huge effort to help them feel comfortable at a new place. You can tell Mandy really cares about the animals. She called midday with an update and was more than happy to answer my questions at pick up! The front desk staff were extremely nice and helpful. They worked with me to squeeze my dogs in for last minute boarding. The facility is very clean too. My dogs loved it and we will be going back to Social Pet!
