Exactly the encouraging, creative, and supportive environment every child should have the opportunity to be a part of! A lot of dance schools have one adult ballet class and it meets once a week. It's a non-descript level that they just call Adult Ballet. One of the BEST things about Open Door is that they have a full adult program of dance. It includes lots of dance styles of almost every genre. And within those dance styles there are often various levels so that the dancer - yes, even the ADULT DANCER - can take the class that is most aligned for where they currently are in their dance journey. Nowhere is this more noticeable and more appreciated than in the offerings Open Door has for ballet - the dance style that has historically had the most gatekeeping. Open door is a great dance studio- professional teachers, challenging classes, and an opportunity to perform in showcases. I have been taking classes at open door for over 15 years- Love this studio.
