My daughter started here when she was 12, and has been taking for almost 2 years. She has met so many great people and friends and it has really helped with her self confidence. She loves that they incorporate karate, self defense, wrestling skills, and other things! Last fall my 6 year old son begged me to start letting him take classes too, so he’s been going ever since. He has a blast while learning all kinds of “ninja” skills. Everyone working there is so nice and great with all ages of kids. What a gem - this place is the real deal for training and character development. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and exceptional in working with children, meeting them where they are and encouraging evolution in their individual martial arts journeys. Amazing for birthday parties, too, because they're also really fun and high-energy! It's THE activity my kids don't want to miss
Would leave 10 stars if we could! Beyond impressed with the training program here at MATI South. Family owned and run, and after almost 2 years here, we also feel like family. Each instructor brings something different to class, yet they all have knowledge/expertise, a LOT of passion, and are super fun! Not only are the kids learning about martial arts, they are learning life skills, social skills, discipline and focus. We plan to attend MATI for many years to come. Thank you!
