With its quaint and beautiful exterior, it's easy to miss, but the talented stylists inside make it a must-visit destination. The salon boasts a team of incredible stylists, including Mark, who has been a trusted colorist for over 10 years, and Miranda, who listens attentively to clients' needs. The salon's cozy atmosphere, complete with beautiful decor, makes clients feel at ease. With its excellent service and attention to detail, Fern House Salon is a top recommendation, even worth driving from afar for.

I drove over an hour from the Triad after doing a lot of research because I was looking for someone who really understands curls…. not just color…. but cutting, shaping, styling, the whole thing. Booking with someone new always feels a little risky, but Rachel at Fern House completely exceeded my expectations.

If you’re looking for the perfect highlights and an amazing vibe, look no further. Kortney is incredible! She’s so incredibly kind and welcoming that you’ll feel right at home the second you sit in her chair. It’s rare to find someone so sincere and talented at the same time. I’m seriously obsessed with my hair and the whole experience. Huge shoutout to Kortney for being such an inspiration as a founder and a stylist!
Mark has been doing my hair for a year now, and I cannot say enough good things about him! Not only is he incredibly talented at both hair styling and coloring but he is also so enjoyable to be around - he has such a warm, kind presence!
When I first started going to Mark, he was so great at helping me maintain my dark color and cover up my grays. I shared with him that I was insecure about my grays, so he suggested lightening up my hair and adding more dimension to it to help make my grays less noticeable in-between appointments. I’m SO glad I took his advice, as I couldn’t be happier with the results!
