What's sad is that there is another Expert Nails that is NOT on Carmel Road and I can tell that these reviews are for that salon. I can tell from the photos that this is not the inside of their store. What a shame that people do not pay attention before they start leaving bad reviews! Expert Nails near Fresh Market at the corner of 51 and Carmel Road is an excellent nailshop!

Best nail salon in Charlotte. My nails always look great no matter who does them in this salon. You feel relaxed during the process and not the typical "get you in and out" experience you receive in most nail salons in Charlotte. The price is right, the salon is clean. The staff is gracious and friendly. I usually make an appointment and they accept "walk in" clients, too. I won't go anywhere else to have my nails done.

They did a good job on my pedicure. But I would not recommend getting your nails done there. I wanted natural looking and the acrylic is super thick and not even. She left polish on my cuticles and when I asked her to fix it she got annoyed. I asked to clean under them because acrylic was under my nail and said she couldn't because they were short it would come off once I washed my hands again. They look gross and I hate them. Also when I got home I saw a string or hair under the polish of one. Once I left she didn't even say bye and I only asked to fix one thing and tipped!! It's close to my apartment but I will find somewhere else to go.
