In April of 2021 I was led to OrthoCarolina to seek care for an knee replacement that was infected. Traveling to Charlotte was an inconvenience since I live in Asheville, but surgeons told me about Dr. Otero and his PA Emily Baker and their expertise with infected devices. I am so very glad I listened and was treated by Dr. Otero and Emily Baker. My knee was in very bad shape but thanks to OrthoCarolina and the best surgical team in North Carolina I now have a knee revision free from pain and infection. Much thanks to Dr. Emily Baker. She diagnosed me accurately and put me at ease from my torn meniscus. I have seen her twice now and both visits were great. Highly recommend her and highly recommend Ortho Carolina.
