A friend told me she bought her glasses that after her eye appointment and told me to try them. I only needed glasses. The lady that helped me was Glenda. That woman is amazing. I had picked out frames but they were a little to expensive for me. She said let me look, OMG, before she was finished she had at least 20 pair of frames for me to try. Then when I put them on she would say whether or not they looked good. I ended up with frames she chose, then she did all the customizing to be sure the prescription for the lenses would be in the right place for my eyes. Wow. Where do I begin. I guess it all begins when I was a young boy, aged 10. I went to the eye doctor. I was so excited to get an eye exam done so I can be “20/20”. Well what began the day led me down a dark path of “latrophobia” as my psychiatrist would coin the term (specifically eye doctors). Fast forward to 2025, I am a full adult and knew I needed an eye exam. I drove to this clinic not knowing what to expect. Instantly greeted by very friendly and kind receptionists. Dr. House is kind and takes the time I need to be calm and able to do what she needs me to do. I don't do well at doctor's appointments so appreciate her ability to do all she needs to do while helping me be calm.
