My son’s car needed much done to it and he is away. The cluster needed to be fixed too. The ladies in the front office were awesome, they felt my anxiety and put me at ease right away. Doug had it fixed In less than a day and was so sweet explaining everything he fixed for me. The price was more than fair. This is a gem of a place and I will always refer people to them. Thank you for all you did to help me!
Have known this company in Charlotte for decades. My son needs his stereo repaired and I know they will get it done. Ecstatic that there is still great businesses such as this one still out there for fast friendly customer service. I know they will get my son taken care of. Doug and his wife are fabulous people. Ignore those bad reviews. Some people are just down-right negative for everything in their lives. This place is where you need to go and trust to get the job done right!!!! Thank you Downtown Radio for sticking around Charlotte and knowing your stuff!!! So very hard to find companies that care about customers!!! I just had to let it be known about this great business!!!
I called and asked about a repair for a 24 year old radio in my Ford F150 because I wanted to keep the truck stock. Doug took the time to explain to me that it is likely not in my best best interest to repair the radio or purchase a 'used' radio as a replacement because of the problems that were associated with the radios during those model years. Keeping it stock, he said, would be unwise because of the high cost of repair unless this was a show truck (which it is not). Additionally he expressed concern that any used radio I might purchase would also have the very same problems with the capacitors as the radio I currently have. I thanked him for his honesty and will follow his advice of installing an aftermarket radio in the truck. This is a prime example of putting the needs of the customer first and why he has earned the trust of so many people here in Charlotte for more than two decades.
