Dr. Hayes is the BEST. A year ago I had a broken ankle which he repaired at the Monroe hospital - very efficiently from beginning to end, out in a half day and all follow-ups very satisfactory.
Recently determined that I need a shoulder replacement, which he does not do (Most of the orthopedic surgeons now have specialties only). His office was very helpful in finding the right surgeon for this procedure.
I am a chronic pain patient that has been on a certain regimen for close to 12 years. I found out my pain management doctor was abruptly closing and was only given a two month notice. My primary referred me to Dr Goldberg and an appointment was made within a week and half.
My first appointment with Dr Goldberg was about an hour long. He took the time to thoroughly listen to me, give his advice on a plan, and answer any questions I had.
I was upset at the first appointment, not at him, but of the reality that I'm in. I did leave the office crying, but it was no fault of his.

I was with Dr. Goldberg for a number of years up until 2021 when I moved two hours away. He and his staff treated me with dignity and the utmost respect and I hated to leave but due to anxiety issues felt I could not deal with a four to four and a half hour drive. Biggest mistake ever. The new pain mgmt facility I ended up at was a nightmare (separate issue) and they opened a bunch of new offices and let me know a month in advance the office I went to was shutting down. I contacted Dr. Goldbergers staff as I could not deal with the unproffesionalism of the physician practices in my area and was readily accepted back on short notice.
