My parked truck’s extended side-view mirror got clipped by one of the company vehicles. I wasn’t in the truck, but whoever hit it took the time to look for me by knocking on doors nearby. And when they couldn’t find me, they left a note. The owner paid for a full replacement (not cheap!) without balking.
