The golf course is in good shape, featuring a great layout, fast and consistent greens, and well-maintained bunkers. The grounds include amenities such as a swimming pool, a pond for fishing, and a workout gym. While there may be some issues with bag handling, the overall experience is positive, despite slow play often resulting in rounds lasting 4 1/2 to 5 hours. The course is beautiful, and nearby beaches like Sunset Beach are within a short drive, offering pier and beach stores, including a small ice cream shop that serves Hershey ice cream with flavors like apple pie.
