White Lightning Tattoo is a quaint shop with a great atmosphere. The shop is accommodating and can work with customers to schedule appointments, even last minute. Artists, like Chelsea, provide excellent tattoos and are friendly. The shop is highly recommended and customers plan to return for future tattoos.
Great place. Jessie is absolutely wonderful with her art. I would highly recommend. They are all very talented and professional. They would never make you do something like pull your pants down lol.
I missed my original appointment, I couldn’t find the shop. There wasn’t anything to indicate there was a tattoo shop anywhere around.When I got home they had already contacted me and I responded what happened And I was happy they were able to reschedule me the next day. When I arrived the next day, armed with better directions and GPS, I understood why I couldn’t find it. There had been nothing indicating it was even there, no sign and the railing kinda blocked the entrance. When I got inside I was Greeted by the two young ladies that each were tattooing their clients. Jesse introduced herself and explained she would be tattooing me when she was done with the young lady she was tattooing. I was a little surprised as I was expecting the guy who I was in contact with during the scheduling and rescheduling. I wasn’t concerned with who was doing my tattoo, but rather concerned I had emailed and discussed the design . I was relieved when Jesse took a second away from her client and went over what she had done with my design idea and she really knocked it out of the park. I didn’t mind at all the wait since Jesse was upfront from me arriving how long I would have to wait before she could start on my design. There was so much to keep myself and daughter entertained while waiting. The artwork around the shop helped peak our interests, but the two dogs that were snoozing in front of us kept us entertained. The hour flew by and Jesse had just finished client and was getting set up for me next. I felt relieved the detail Jesse used in cleaning down everything and not rushing to make up for me waiting. I’ve been to several tattoo shops and artists she really took care not to over work my skin. I wouldn’t be surprised if she had been tattooing for a while. I would highly recommend Jesse to anyone, she really made the visit a great one. The way she explained the wait upfront was excellent, The colors she picked for the butterfly was the exact colors my wife had her butterfly.
Artists are talented and friendly, the most beautiful work in the area. 10/10 recommend. I’m never going to another shop again.
