Dr. Shanahan is knowledgeable and professional in her work with my horses. I completely trust Dr. Shanahan’s treatment advice. She and the vet techs are consistently calm, patient, and have a positive attitude. When I call the clinic, Ashley is always nice and helpful. I highly recommend the Carolina Equine Hospital.
I cannot say enough great things. Let’s start with Dr.Talbot. My JT ( 28yr old Quarter horse)was attacked and his face was severely torn and shredded. Being a weekend emergency Dr.Talbot came to our rescue even though it was snowing and freezing. Dr.Talbot handled things very professionally and was amazing. Our follow ups have been with Dr.Sparks and she is wonderful. She handled me and JT well. Me asking 1000’s of questions her answering them and reassuring me. We reached out to set up a Pre-Purchase exam for a horse we are interested in. Our experience was wonderful! The reception staff were kind and communicated well. I am out of state and the whole team made communication very easy. They even agreed to do a Zoom call with a video so we could be a part of the PPE exam on the horse. Dr. Shanahan was amazing. She thoroughly examined the horse, explained all aspects of what she was doing, and answered any questions. The team was kind and calm with the young horse and had excellent patience and care.
