My family’s van broke down on the street in front of Eldridge Tire today. I had no idea how lucky we were to break down there. They had a technician walk out to diagnose the problem, drove me to the gas station, let me borrow a gas can, lent me a funnel, tested and jumpstarted my battery, had a tow truck arranged in the event we couldn’t start our car, offered to let us keep our van overnight, stayed late after closing time to do all this… I just can’t say enough about the honest, kind people here! If you need any work done on your car, you should bring it down to them. Just really good people who really care and take pride in their work.
Had car issues on our drive up to Brevard. The car made it to Brevard but would not start the next morning. I walked over to Eldridge's and talked to the receptionist. Told her what my problem was and she asked one of the mechanics (Tony) if he would go see what the problem was and if we would need to tow the car. Tony was able to get the car to start and I was able to drive it to the shop instead of getting it towed. Once at the shop, he discovered that Jiffy Lube had put my air filter in upside down and backward which was causing the air flow sensor to malfunction. They had the car for about 2 hours and we were able to enjoy the rest of our vacation. They were great. They were very busy but took time to take care of my problem. I really appreciate their help and would certainly recommend them.
Eldridge tire went out of their way to take care of my wife and I. Our particular repair was quite the opposite of a gravy job and in spite of their heavy workload were able to get us in and back on the road when everyone else in town were either not interested or quoting absurd prices. They are light hearted and fun to interact with while holding an attitude of service and commitment to the community. Good people and competent hands!
