Walmart Vision & Glasses

My insurance is not in network with my vision provider now although it still covers medical. I took my current prescription into the Walmart vision center in Boone NC location, picked out 2 pairs of frames that I liked to get price checked and ended up purchasing both. There was a discount for buying the second pair and the first ones were on sale already. I was very pleased with how quick and efficient the whole experience was. The price was very good and the selection as well. My glasses should be here in a week or less.

I bought a pair of glasses. And, they just wouldn't fit my ears. But, they keep thinking them and finally got them perfect. Thank you boone, nc vision center for your dedication on fixing my gkasses.

Good and bad. They have fat head brand for my 6'8 200 lb son. Other optical places didn't have any options for a large men. But they told me my son's insurance did not cover the cost? I had to pay out of pocket $400 and then submit a claim myself for a reimbursement and they assured me that Walmart was supposed to take the insurance!
