Don't let the outside of the building fool you. It looks like a 1950's "curl & chat." There is some real hidden talent inside. Monica Gardner is amazing with hair. She does great cuts, but her talent really shines with color. She's so affordable it's almost absurd.

Monica has been my stylist/colorist for several years now. I continue to make the drive to Black Mountain even though the distance is inconvenient for me and I never regret it. As a prematurely gray woman, I wanted to break free from the oppressive routine of full-head coloring, with the constant touch-ups and worries about visible roots. But I didn't want to look older than I was. Monica took me from deep auburn with gray roots, through a series of colorings and styles, to a gorgeous natural silver accented with all the colors of the rainbow, in accordance with my personal style, keeping me presentable and professional looking the whole time. I trust her completely with my hair. Sometimes the appointments do take a while, but it's a trade-off I'm willing to make for her services. I would pay twice as much and feel I came out to the good.

The stylist did a great job on my daughter's hair. It was a last minute appointment and we had called around several places. She was able to squeeze us in while some ones hair color was setting... We will be back
