I enrolled my daughter here for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. As an avid MMA fan I can't deny that this is a means of vicarious living , but I believe she's got natural talent for it. I was so impressed with the instructor, not only for his immediate 1 on 1 attention to assess her abilities on day one, but the fact that on her first day she was learning REAL Jiu-Jitsu. I watched her first class as she was welcomed by all (quite a diverse class for age). The instructor constantly made his way around to all paired groups to see proper technique displayed. I have wrestled here for 5 years now and have grown in endurance, understanding, and knowledge of wrestling. There is competition for everyone from beginning to national camps. They travel the country to tournaments so their wrestlers can get new looks at the competition and learn what only experience can teach them. Just took my first bjj class here. I was crazy nervous about trying something like this. I have zero experience and I’m 38 years old. All the people here, students and teachers, made me feel welcome and were really patient with me. Didn’t laugh at me ( Atleast not to my face) lol If you’ve been interested in trying it out and are just nervous give it a shot. I’m sore today but I had a great time and it’s a really good workout for sure.
