Was invited to come to an open mat from a friend, showed up, coach looked at me like I was a total inconvenience, told him I came from a wrestling background, he proceeded to tell me to sit through a 2 hour class just to never talk about pricing or any sort of training. Wouldn't recommend to any newcomers.

I enrolled my daughter here for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. As an avid MMA fan I can't deny that this is a means of vicarious living , but I believe she's got natural talent for it. I was so impressed with the instructor, not only for his immediate 1 on 1 attention to assess her abilities on day one, but the fact that on her first day she was learning REAL Jiu-Jitsu. I watched her first class as she was welcomed by all (quite a diverse class for age). The instructor constantly made his way around to all paired groups to see proper technique displayed. I have wrestled here for 5 years now and have grown in endurance, understanding, and knowledge of wrestling. There is competition for everyone from beginning to national camps. They travel the country to tournaments so their wrestlers can get new looks at the competition and learn what only experience can teach them.
