I was stuck in Charlotte traffic, thought to go get a haircut, so by the time traffic will get normalized i would be done, looked them up on google maps, got off exit and went there just to find out they dont take walk-ins. must be doing pretty good to turn down business. I am not an evil person, i amNot going to give them one star. But i will say this much, have someone courteous run ur register. “ we are sorry we dont take Walk-ins”, i didnt see it written anywhere that its by appointment only.

I will 100% come back to this barbershop. These people are truly amazing. I am a cancer survivor and I just started regrowing my hair back out. It had been extremely uneven and every other place I called said I should cut it off and let it grow out that way. I couldn't just do that. When I called Ballard's they were so accommodating to me and they were very supportive of my want to keep what hair I do have. This was true blessing to find and the people whom I spoke to were absolutely wonderful. I will recommend them to anyone and everyone. Thank you so much for hearing me and making sure I felt comfortable and welcomed. I truly appreciate it.

I have gone here twice with Brandon and he gives a great fade, easily the best barber I have had in years. I’ve had an issue with fades in the past not being symmetrical on both sides and his are perfect. The shop has a good vibe, and is very competitively priced vs shops closer to or in downtown Charlotte. He is well worth a 20 minute drive

Ballard’s Barbershop was originated in the ‘East End’ of Belmont in 1949 by William Henry ‘Bill’ Ballard. Mr. Ballard was an honorable man and left a great mark on hearts in his family and community. His legacy has continued on Main Streets in our region through William Henry Signature Salons.
