Our little 11yo guy was having some worrisome issues so we brought him in. We found Dr. Knowles to be caring, very thorough, and explained all his findings to us. We feel lucky to have Dr. Knowles as an advocate for our precious fur baby. Thank you, Doctor.
We were visiting from Florida when our dog got seriously ill. We asked 2 locals where we should go and they recommended Dr. Knowles at Banner Elk Veterinary Hospital. They fit us in immediately. The staff were very kind. I was impressed with Dr. Knowles thorough exam & investigation and his careful explanation of the options available. After a week, we sadly had to turn to Dr. Knowles again when it was apparent our older dog wasn’t eating or getting better. Sadly we had to put her to sleep. Appreciated the compassionate care and would definitely recommend Banner Elk Veterinary Hospital.
Wonderful small-town vet with friendly helpful staff. Dr.Knowles is knowledgeable and straightforward. He will be honest with you about options and best treatment approaches. In-house dentistry. Small food shop. Reasonable costs.
